I’d Like To Live in a Rural Community

February 12, 2010

I’d like to live in a rural community.

If I lived in a rural community I could have a farm and adorable animals.  If I had privacy I could read books sitting in the sun.  I can swim in the pond.  I can see ducks and I can see turtles and deer.

I cannot walk to school.  I’d have to ride the bus to school.  I would drive to the movies.  And I can’t get pizza fast.

But I’d live to live in a rural community.

I Want To Live in The Country

February 8, 2010

I want to live in the country.

I want to be around different animals. I want to chase deer. I want a big space to play Capture the Flag. I want more privacy because it’s easier to find a place to be alone. I want to see what people act like.

However there’s no fast food in the country. There are long rides to go places. You also have to spend more money on tractors.

However, the country is the place I want to be!

I Would Like To Live In An Urban Community

February 8, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in an urban area.

There are good things about a city. I love to wake up and go to a diner and get some food. Libraries are so good. I love when I go to school and go to the library with my friends. In the afternoon I like to go to the park when the sun is setting.

There are bad things about a city too. I do not like traffic. It makes me late for school. At night when I live in a rural country, I look up and see the stars. They look so nice. I worry about sickness in crowds.

If I had a choice, I would live in an urban area even though there are hard things about living in the city. I still know I can handle it!

I Would LIve In An Urban City

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice I would live in an urban city.

I would like to live next to other people in the city.  There would be friends to play with.  I can go to diners and restaurants to eat.  I can ride buses to get to other places in the city.

I hate loud things like sirens on police cars and fire trucks. There isn’t enough room to go fishing.

Even though there are hard things about living in the city, I still want to live in the city.

The Urban Community Is Where I Want to Live

February 7, 2010

The urban community is where I want to live.

There are perfect things about the city.  There are sidewalks so I don’t get hurt when I walk to school.  When my sister is out, I have lots of friends to play with when I’m bored and when I’m down.  If I’m hungry, I don’t have to wait because the restaurants are nearby.

There are difficult things about the city too.  There is traffic!  When I’m late to school or somewhere, I don’t want my mom or dad to get stuck in traffic.  It is so loud I can’t hear anything except honking and people talking.  When I accidentally wander away from my mom in big malls, I will get lost.

So, there are good, and not so good things, about the city.  But I still want to live in an urban community.

I Would Live In An Urban Community

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in an urban community.

There are good things about living in the city.   I look forward to the parks.  I like the rings and the museums. The sculptures are so awesome. At night before I go to sleep I see streetlights on the poles.

There are hard things about living in the city. I don’t look forward to rats.  I only like mice. The buses are so quiet. But I like them loud sometimes. And there is so much traffic.  Even though there are hard things about living in the city,

I still would choose to live in an urban area.

If I Had a Choice, I Would Live in a Rural Area

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in a rural area.

I would look to see the tall pines.  They smell prickly in my throat and nose when I walk outside each and every morning.
In open fields each afternoon my family would fly kites and play volleyball.  At night I see the animals curled up.   There are good things about living in a rural area.

Sometimes, gunshots from hunters who are hunting deer would wake me.  I would not get a wink of sleep.  I say, “Stop!” It would be a long drive to go to school and I would be late for morning meeting.  Bees buzzing in my ears!  There are bad things about living in a rural area.

Even though there are hard things about living in a rural area, the country is for me.

I Would Rather Live In The City

February 7, 2010

When I grow up, I would live in an urban area.

There are good things about the urban city.  It is easier to get to stores in an urban city by walking or driving a short way.  There are tons of kids to play with and not that many in a rural place.  It is much closer to Target.

There are bad things about the urban city. The urban city has too much traffic.  There are too many people in the urban city.  It is hard to get houses.

Even though there are hard things about the urban city, I would rather live in the city.

I Want To Live In the Country

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in a rural area.

There are good things about living in the country. I wish I lived in the rural area so I could climb tall trees. I can see me picking apples in the day.  Oh, how I love apples.
In the spring I can plant corn.  Oh, how I love corn.

There are bad things about living in the country.  There are too many bees that sting me.  “Ouch,” I say, “Bad bee.”  I get lonely. I get disappointed because I have no one to play with and sometimes I cry.  It’s a long drive to the city.  I don’t like long drives. I get car sick.  I listen to the radio.  I say, “When will we get there?” over and over and over.

Even though there are hard things about living in a rural country, I still want to live in the country.

I Want To Be In An Urban City

February 7, 2010

I want to be in an urban city because it’s fun.

There are good things about the city.  I love playgrounds.  mostly when it’s summer, because there are fun playgrounds to play on.  There are more small pets in the city because there are more children.  I love pets so much.  I have a hamster that is very, very, very, very, cute.  He is a hamster and he runs around in his ball.  There are a lot of schools in the city because there are a lot of people.  Schools are fun because at recess you get to play with friends and have fun.

There are bad things about the city.  There is too much noise from all the people and the buildings.  There is too much litter from all the people dropping garbage.  There are no deer because they live in forests.

Even though there are bad things about the city, I would still want to live in an urban city.

I Would Like To Live In An Urban Area

February 7, 2010

I would like to live in an urban area.

There are wonderful things about living in an urban community.  I look forward to making new friends in city parks.  My friends and I like going to the library together.  School is always fun when your friends are with you.

There are also not so nice things about living in an urban community.  It’s too loud when I walk home from school. Sometimes I want peace and quiet with out cars honking.  When I go in public it’s too crowded and I have to squeeze through the crowd.  There is too much pollution, cigarettes and cigars, cans and bottles.

But even though there are hard things about living in an urban area, I still would choose to live in the city.

I Would Like To Live In An Urban Area

February 7, 2010

When I grow up I would like to live in an urban area.

I like it when my dog gets to meet different breeds of dogs in city parks. I love biking! Biking is fun on the sidewalk! When I have less farming, I can go to stores and buy groceries that are still fresh.

It’s hard in the morning when there is so much traffic to deal with on the way to school. In the day when I want a piece of paper I use scrap paper that my grandma gives me from her work. I get lost in the mall when there are so many people. Sometimes in the night it gets really noisy because there are teenagers across the street.

Even though there are some hard things I would still want to live in the city.

I Would Live In An Urban Area

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in an urban area when I grow up.

There are good things about living in the city. I enjoy the bright glow of streetlights at night. It’s nice when stores are close to you so you can walk to them. In the city it’s faster to get to the places you need to get to on a bus.

There are not so good things about the city. Sometimes it’s hard to get to places with so many cars. Most people do not have very big yards to play in. It’s often loud in the city, and sometimes hard to find a peaceful place to calm down.

Even though there are hard things about living in the city, I still would choose to live in an urban area.

I Would Live In A Rural Area

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in a rural area because I’ve always wanted to live in a rural community.

It is lovely how the flowers smell beautiful, especially the blossoms. They’re wonderful. Schools are fun; you get to learn and play. You also meet lots of little kids. There are lots of vegetables in gardens. There are carrots and some potatoes. There’s also broccoli and you get to eat them. There is plenty of space to run around. There are big fields that you get to run around in. They are green and grassy.

The bad thing about living in a rural community is that there are foxes in it and they try to eat you. There are also bears in the country and I am scared of them. Another bad thing about living in the country is that, when you try to go to sleep, the trees rattle.

Even though there are hard things about living in the country, I still would choose to live in a rural area.

There Are Good Things About Living In A City

February 7, 2010

There are good things about living in a city.

In the city, there are tall buildings where I can look at the stars with a telescope.  I have lots of friends to play with nearby where I live.  I like to hear the birds singing.  The Chinese Buffet is my favorite restaurant and I can walk there.  There are lots of stores that sell neat stuff.

There are hard things about living in the city.  People yell a lot in the city when I’m trying to sleep.  My Mom has to say, “Be Quiet!”  Also, there is crime and you can hear cops.  People hit each other and say mean stuff sometimes.  Some people also litter the streets.

But, the city is where I would like to live.

If I Had A Choice, I Would Live in a Rural Area

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice I would live in a rural area.

There are good things in the country.  If I lived in a rural area, I would have a delectable time taking a walk in the woods.  In the summer it is so phenomenal because it is so beautiful when I look outside and see the flowers and the lake is sparkling and the grass is green.  It is so quiet in summer.  I love to curl up with a book.  It is so quiet.

There are good things and bad things in the country.  It’s sad when I get out of bed and know that no one is going to walk with me.  It is so irritating to see holes in my clothes from moths.  I would be tired of cooking but I understand that I can’t go to a restaurant.

Even though there are hard things about living in the country, I still would choose to live in a rural area.

I Would Live In A Rural Area

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I would live in a rural area.

There are good things about the country. I look forward every morning to seeing the trees outside swaying slowly side to side. In the summer, I look forward to pulling out carrots, potatoes, and garlic bulbs. At night, I always look out and see if I can see the moon.

There are hard things about the rural area. I hate that I have to go all the way down to Wegman’s and have to find a parking spot. It is really annoying when the squirrels knock over the bird feeder. I wish those big gunshots would stop going “bang” during hunting season.

Even though there are hard things about the country, I still would choose to live in a rural area.

I Want To Live In A Rural Area

February 7, 2010

I want to live in a rural area when I grow up.

I am looking forward to going fishing. You can see frogs around ponds. You can see bugs everywhere. I like bugs.

I don’t like bees because they sting people. In town it’s easy to walk to school but in the rural area it takes longer.

If I had a choice I would live in a rural area.

I’m Going To Live In An Urban Community Someday

February 7, 2010

I’m going to live in an urban community someday.

There are good things about living in the city. I like to go to the library with lots of books to read. Usually in the afternoon, parks are the places to go! At night, I go to diners. That’s when I look out the window.

There are bad things about living in the city. When I wake up, I’m stuffed with stuffed animals up to my cheeks! All the time when we’re in the car I have no idea where our house is. There are so many houses in the city! It takes so long to get to sleep at night!

Even though there are hard things about the city, I’m going to live there someday.

Maybe I’ll Live In The City

February 7, 2010

When I grow up, maybe I will live in the city.

There are good things about living in the city.  I like to go to the skate park.  Restaurants are fun.  I ride my bike at the skate park.  I go to karate class.

There are bad things about living in the city.  There are traffic lights.  There are lots of accidents because there are so many cars.

Even though people have accidents because there are so many cars, I still think I would maybe want to live in the city.

I Would Like To Live In A Suburban Community

February 7, 2010

When I grow up I would like to live in a suburban area.

There are good things about living in the suburbs.  I am looking forward to playing basketball with my brother because we’d have a lot of space.  How much room I’d have!  I’d have little space in an urban city, but in a suburban place I’d have more space.  Families live in suburban communities and I’d have lots of friends to play with.

There are bad things about living in a suburban community. In a suburban community houses look a lot a like. Houses in a suburban area are usually close together.  If you live in the suburbs, you are further away from the city.

Even though there are hard things about living in the suburbs, I think I would still live in a suburban community.

I Will Live In A Suburban Community

February 7, 2010

I will live in a suburban community when I grow up.

There are good things about the suburbs. I want to go into the woods. I hope I see tall trees towering over my head. It’s beautiful the sounds of music in the air. Nature makes the sounds.

There are hard things about living in a suburban area. Wasps are there. They’re waiting to sting. And I’d have to drive way too much.

Even though there are bad thing about a suburban area, I still want to live in a suburban community.

The City Will Always Be My Home

February 7, 2010

The city will always be my home.

I like the city because there are friends close by. I also like the city because I don’t have to drive a long way to work. And I like the city because there are playgrounds around the corner. When you go to bed in the city you can hear the sounds of taxis and cars.

But, when I am in the city and I am on my way to work there is too much traffic. Also in the city there is more pollution than in the country. And in the city, there are not as many trees as in the country.

Even though there is more pollution in the city, I still would like to live there more than in the country.

A Rural Area Is For Me

February 7, 2010

I bet it would be wonderful to live in a rural area.

When I live in a rural area I will take care of lost or cold or hurt or hungry animals!! I will see deer in the morning while eating breakfast!! It will be peaceful most of the time!!

In a rural area it will be hard to set up a play date. We would have to drive farther to the city. There would be squirrels and rats stealing food from the house and other animals.

But, the rural area is for me!!

I Would Pick A City

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice I would pick a city.

If I live in an urban community and if I had a kid it will be easy to take him or her to school. And it will be easy to go to work. Then I will be close to my family.

But if I lived in an urban community, it will be bad because it’s not quiet and when I go to work there’s a lot of traffic. Then at night when I am trying to sleep I will have a hard time because of horns honking. I would not like that.

It will be loud, but I will still pick the city.

I Would LIve In The Country

February 7, 2010

If I could choose, I would live in the country.

If I lived in a rural community I could have a big yard. I could play games and have bonfires. I could play kickball.

But if I lived in the country it would be far from my friends. Also, I’d be far from my cousins. It would be a long way to the stores.

But there’s a lot of good things in the country.

I Would Live In The City

February 7, 2010

If I could live anywhere, I would live in the city.

I could get a lot more Halloween candy in the city. In the city there are buses. Also, in the city there are more theaters.

But I hate seeing dead mice in the old alleyways by the dumpsters. There are not many gardens in the city. Also, the city has a lot more pollution.

But the city is for me!

The Country Is For Me

February 7, 2010

I probably will try to live in the country.

I will wake up in the morning. I will use the fire pit and sit. I will go out and sled in the winter. There are good cabins in the country. I would live there.

There are more poisonous plants in a rural area. Poisonous plants are mean! Also there’s no Chinese food delivery, and more bees. Bees are mean.

But, the country is still for me!

P.S. Peace out home dogs!

There’s No Place Like The Country For Me

February 7, 2010

There’s no place like the country for me.

If I lived in the country it would be quieter for reading.  I would have more room to play tag.  I can have horses in the country, not in the city.

However, if I lived in the country it would take a long time to get to school.  I also don’t like my friends being far away.  I wish there was pizza delivery.

But I would never leave the country for the city.

There’s No Place Like The City

February 7, 2010

There’s no place like the city.

I like to live in an urban community because of the non dirt roads. I have a less likely chance of my tires getting popped. I’m glad to have sidewalks so I know where to stay safely in the urban community. I like the urban community because I can walk to some of my friends’ houses.

There are problems living in an urban community because there are too many cars on the streets. Also I hardly see any bikes. And I definitely do not see many gardens when I go for walks.

But even if problems are there, still a city is for me.

I Would Live In The City

February 7, 2010

I would live in the city.

If I lived in the city I could go to Yankees’ games. I love the Yankees. They are my favorite team. In the city, I could make more friends to go sledding. I love to go swimming and if I lived in the city I could go to swimming pools easier.

But, there are no gardens in the city. I love to grow things. There isn’t as much room to play in the city. All the houses are too close together.

But, the city is for me.

I Would Love To Live In A Suburban Community

February 7, 2010

I would love to live in a suburban community.

I would have a big yard to play in and run in. Also I would have trees. I would have more friends to play with and have a lot of room to race in. I would also have a big house so I can have a playroom to myself and have a bigger clubhouse and an upstairs room.

But, I would need to drive for a long time to get to school. Also, my house would be the same as the other houses. And I’d also need to drive for a long time to get to stores.

But, when I grow up I would like to live in the suburbs.

I Love The City

February 7, 2010

There is no place like the city.

In the city I see dogs get walked and I get to pet them.  I don’t like ice-skating, I love ice-skating!  And there is a rink close by where I can skate.  Also it is easy to buy food for my hamster.

But I hate the traffic in the city, don’t you?  Also I hate dead mice.  They creep me out.  When a house gets on fire in the city, the other ones get on fire.

However, I love the city.

I Would Love To Live In The Country

February 7, 2010

I would love to live in the country.

I can have more space for gardens and more land to play hide and go seek.  In the country I can have a bunch of animals to play with. There is more peacefulness in a rural area.  There are not that many people close by.

If I lived in the country I would have a long drive to school. When I would want to see friends, I would have to go far away in order to see them.  When I would cut my grass, I would have to get a lawn mower.

But I would love to live in the country.

I Like The City

February 7, 2010

I like the city.

I want to live in a city because there are more playgrounds. I would like to live in a city because there are more friends. I think living in a city would be nice because there are no dirt roads.

I’d still like the city though.

I Would Pick a Suburban Area

February 7, 2010

If I could live anywhere I would pick a suburban area.

In the suburbs when you wake up, it’s pretty quite because there are not a lot of cars going around. Also, when I’m riding bikes cars won’t bump into me. Also, there are a lot of kids to play with.

When I wake up to go to school, it will take longer to drive. Also my chance to get to school on time is worse. Then, there is more pollution from cars because there are more people who have to use them.

But even though there is more pollution in a suburban area, I would choose to live there.

I Wish I Lived in A Suburban Area

February 7, 2010

I wish I lived in a suburban area.

I would like to live in a suburban area because there are not a lot of cars going by. Also I would like to have a big yard to run around. It would be nice not to have a lot of cars going by so I can ride my bike.

But it would be a long drive to the grocery store. Also I would have to drive to a friend’s house. Then there’s more pollution because you have to drive more.

However, I still want to live in a suburban area.

If I Had A Choice, I’d Live in The Country

February 7, 2010

If I had a choice, I’d live in the country.

If I lived in a rural community, I could hear birds sing in the morning. If I had a big house, Luke could have a spider-free room. If I lived in a big house my room would be bigger than it really is, and it will be easier to find my things.

But if I lived in the country, the roads would be dirt. There would be no pizza delivery! Also, there would be a long drive to school and my friends would not be close to me.

But I would love to live in the country!

There Is No Place Like the Country

February 7, 2010

There is no place like the country.

Sometimes there are big houses in the woods in the country.  There are more woods in the country than in the city.  There are also more deer, bear, and foxes in the country.  I like that there is less pollution.

But, I don’t like the country because my friends would be far away.  I’m scared of the dark in the country because there is no light in the woods.  I’d have a very long drive to the store.

However, the country is the place for me.

I Like Rural Communities

February 7, 2010

If I could live anywhere in the world it would be in a rural community.

I like rural communities because there’s a lot of peace and quiet and I can grow stuff like squash and potatoes. Also there’s more space.

I do not like the country because there’s no fast food. I also do not have any friends close by. There are no stores.

However I do not fit in anywhere else.

I Would Be Happy in The Country

February 7, 2010

If I lived in the country I would be happy.

If I lived in the country, it would be quiet for reading.  I would have a lot of room to play games.  I could also have horses.  I would like to ride horses in the fresh grass.

But, if I lived in the country, it would take so long to get to school.  Also my friends would be living far away.  There are also no deliveries for pizza.

But, my choice would be to live in the country.

The Suburbs Are Good

February 7, 2010

I think there are more good things about living in the suburbs.

If I lived in the suburbs, I would like to have a big house with two dogs and three cats. I would have a big garden in my backyard with pinecone trees. I would grow roses, daisies and all different kinds of flowers. The birds would make nests in my pinecone trees; red birds, blue birds and little baby eggs in their nests.

But, I don’t like that we can’t walk to the pizza place, Papa Johns, because it’s not close to our house. I am sad that my friends would be far away from me. I wish that they were closer to my house so I could walk to their houses.

But, the suburbs are good!

My Bed

April 17, 2009

IMG_1056 My favorite place is my bed because I feel like nobody can get me beacuse I go on my top bunk. My cats get on top with me when I go to sleep. They push each other off the bed. I’m scared at night and I go to my mom’s room. She says, “Go back to your own room,” in a nice voice. My cat Kitten sees me running back to my room so he runs up onto my bed. Then he purrs me to sleep.

My Ginormous Yard

April 17, 2009

img_0909 My favorite place is my ginormous yard.  It is bigger than the Fall Creek cafeteria!  And it has a tree scratchier than my cat’s tongue.  It could take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to run 50 or 60 long laps.  And sometimes, in the summertime, I play there with my adorable peanut dog Biscuit.

My Favorite Place

April 17, 2009

img_0913 My favorite place is a tree in Stewart Park.  It’s a climbing and relaxing tree.  I lay on the l climbing tree.  I hear the water.  It’s angry.  I can see frogs there jumping on lily pads.  I can see really far across the lake.  I can see houses and restaurants.  The restaurants are really fancy.  I can see buds on the climbing/relaxing tree.  At dawn I especially like it.

Triangle Park

My favorite place in my community is Triangle Park.  This is partly because my whole family goes to play there.  It is also because there is a creek there and the creek is very relaxing.  At Triangle Park there are trees that are awesome for climbing.  I feel like I can see beyond the universe when I’m in the trees.  The creek there is also very relaxing because when I’m there I can listen to the swishing of water rushing.  At Triangle Park I feel happy, relaxed, and calm.

My Home

April 7, 2009

img_0916

My home is my favorite place because I have fun play structures and a fun tree house.  I have a bunch of fun toys and rocking games.  I have some American Girls.  I have a favorite.  Her name is Nellie.  Nellie is a poor maid in America.  She had a father.  He died.  She went to an orphanage.  She is Samantha’s best friend.  When she is at the horrible orphanage, Samantha’s loving family adopts Nellie and her two little sisters Bridget and Jenny.  At the end, Nellie and her sisters move in with Samantha in great New York City.
