Cleaning Pip’s cage is my favorite job. First, I get him out of his cage to comb and pet him. Then I put him on the floor and make sure he doesn’t run away. I have to put his cage over him. Sometimes he climbs up the wall. Then I wash his cage. Finally, I put him in his cage and put his cage on the shelf.

Pip is a lucky pet to have you take care of his (or is Pip a female?) cage.
My question is: What is Pip? A mouse, guninea pig, gerbil?
